Wow, home sweet home. The sunny Okanagan weather was unexpected and we were not ready for that heat! It truly was summer here, I was even tempted to hop on a floaty and head down the channel!
After Montreal I am truly disappointed that these events only occur once a year, so naturally Jules and I signed up right away and we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Wine and She’es party.
See you all there!
PS. Winos will be golfing! So hopefully we can enjoy those greens with you!
Does anyone else out there have swollen feet, lack of sleep, groggy eyes and still managed to pull it together for last nights amazing dinner and entertainment?? Everyone looked phenomenal.
Royal LePage really knows how to throw all types of parties, networking and educational inspirational conference speakers. We all know that the morning session was amazing, the GoGO girls really missed out on that!!!
Luckily, we made it to Terri’s afternoon session on public speaking which for me truly hit home. Power point out the window. Audio CD’s in the Audi. Perfection here I come.
We didn’t get the silent auction wine nor sign up for Headstart, but will be in the running for both of those opportunities tomorrow.
So with a little missed event here and there we sure were amazed by the Cirque de Soleil. I was a gymnast for years, competed provincially for years (3rd all around provincials and all around champion for the Valleys). For me it was absolutely incredible to see the 2 men…. (blush) perform with their bodies alone. How unbelievable! Amazinjg talent, physique and balance! I think we all had a blast experiencing that event. What a great company we work for, what a great career we have and what a slick performance last night.

I was so impressed with Terri she had me at e-myth. If you can’t remember what she said she recommended Michael Gerber’s e-myth series. I naturally have everyone and a few on audio. They really resonate with me and I believe that any entrepreneur can benefit from the material. My favorite is the e-myth revisited, you can download it on your iPad.
I loved every piece of her presentation and purchased almost the whole set. I didn’t get the CD’s with gittomer etc as I have quite the collection already.
I am looking forward to reading and listening to her material and really hope that one day we do see her achieve the #1 Best Sellers List.
Jules and I really enjoyed the nightlife at Thursday’s! Some of you lucky people received some interestingly applied tattoos and I being a true small town girl didn’t even know that rotating dance floors existed!
It was a unique experience that I will never do again!!! The next morning my balance was way off and I ended up missing the morning speaker. Throughout the day, I thought that I was experiencing a Montreal earth quake, my equilibrium was off big time; I also thought I was on the elevator while waiting for it, I have never experienced that. It lasted all day…yuck.
Of course a big shout out to Wade Webb for ripping it up on the rotating dance floor with his proteges, the Okanagan Winos.
We also celebrated Danny’s birthday with his brother Marcel who we became instant buddies with after connecting with them at Headstart in Penticton.
Now for all the incriminating photos that were taken, any suggestions???
Wow Franchisers Galore!!
I am always wanting to be in the know and I must say, that the trade show presented some very millennial material. Did you all stick your foot in the blue bootie box? Neat…I was tempted to sport those shower cap protectors all day but passed after Jules gave me the “Jules look.” I can be a huge dork in my hometown but I guess I need to step it up when I am “conventioning”.
How about that program that you can stage listings with?? Change colours and the integration with spidering the feature sheet out to the New York Times….sign me up!
Next is the glowing yard sign that no one can steal….I know no one in Penticton has those, considering bringing that to the Okanagan!
I wasn’t sold on the $900 camera or $500 attachment, it is just too long to wait for all those pictures to be taken in one spot. This process would make my virtual tours a full day project; with my slightly short attention span, this isn’t really worthwhile unless maybe I was texting and dancing at the same time…
After a day of shopping, we prepped for the 60′s themed dance later in the evening. With our Okanagan GoGo Girls on, we joined the other agents for a night of drinks, dancing, costumes and a great time!
Julie and I, Dori Munday are excited to meet all our old and new friends in Montreal!!!
I met quit a few of you Royal LePagers at the Head Start Conference in Penticton BC last August!! I was on the wine tour and ripped it up on the Dance floor!!
